UNiTED tops ASUS Spring 2010

UNiTED finishes on top of ASUS Spring 2010, defeating forZe 16-14 on second map de_train.

The two teams in the Grand Final had not met previously in the tournament, where UNiTED reached the Grand Final through upper-bracket, while forZe came through lower-bracket. Starting on de_inferno, forZe without too much of a hassle secured a 16-10 victory. Moving to de_train, forZe looked as candidates to win the map, as the Russian squad reached a 14-12 score when playing Terrorists. 

But UNiTED locked it down, not letting any more rounds slip, taking the remaining four rounds to win 16-14, ASUS Spring 2010, and the first event victory ever since the roster shake-up.

Both UNiTED and forZe have qualified for the Russian ESWC qualifier finals, taking place next Sunday in Moscow. The final standings for ASUS Spring 2010 look as follows.
